Newly Tenured Faculty Honored with Celebration

Ohlone College honored 12 members of it's Faculty who have received tenure status Thursday May 22 in the lobby of Building 1.

President Doug Treadway and VP Jim Wright spoke at the event before each individual Dean introduced the honored Faculty members in their department.

Student Services threw a surprise celebration Tuesday afternoon honoring Mich Millich who runs the coffee cart outside of building one.

A big, well-deserved Thanks! for keeping us all awake.

Treadway Retirement Party - Part Three

Though the evening was a joyous one, at times it was clear that Dr. Treadway (seen here with his wife Carole) was deeply touched by all the well-wishing.

Almost all of the Family-Treadway were in attendance that night. Treadway noted in his speech that his son's family were in Colorado, awaiting the birth of what will be Dr. Treadway's fourth grandchild. He was a very happy grandpa when he spoke of the event and will visit this newest arrival this summer.

President Douglas Treadway's retirement party was this past Friday. We wish him all the best and hope he has a long, joyful retirement.
